Rotterdam is a city of many faces: a tough port city, a trendy nightlife city, a sophisticated shopping city, and a hip artistic city. Above all, Rotterdam is the architecture city of Holland that stimulates innovation. Its skyline is always changing. There are many things to do amid Rotterdam’s skyscrapers. You can go on a shopping spree, enjoy some excellent food, and visit a range of museums and attractions in and around the city center.
The best-known museums in town and two of Holland’s most sophisticated museums, Boijmans van Beuningen and Kunsthal, are located on the Museumpark in Rotterdam. Elsewhere in the city you will find even more museums and exciting attractions, such as the Scheepvaartmuseum, Euromast, Hotel New York, Spido and Steam Ship Rotterdam. If the cultural offering doesn’t convince you, the huge and varied shop offering will.
Day 1 Discover Rotterdam by bike
After breakfast you can get your bike for a tour through the city. You get a cycle map with directions and information about the sights (Central Station, the Hofbogen, the Rotte, Kralingse forest, Meent, Coolsingel, Markthal, etc.) along the tour. On the way you make some stops to look around and get a drink (you will receive two vouchers for a drink). This tour not only takes you along famous attractions, but you can also see special non-tourist spots, thanks to our local friends.
Note: This package includes a normal city bike. Renting an e-bike, e-solex or e-scooter is also possible, just ask us.
Day 2 Rotterdam Super Trio
Today we start at The Euromast which is 185 metres high and gives you a spectacular view of Rotterdam. On clear days, you can see Antwerp, Moerdijk and The Hague in the distance. From The Euromast you can walk to Spido for a Harbour Experience Tour through the port of Rotterdam. From the Spido you can cross the Maas river by walking over the Erasmusbridge or take the watertaxi (not included in price) to the SS Rotterdam (Steam Ship changed into hotel, restaurants and bars). Explore the biggest ocean steamer ever built in the Netherlands with a special tour.
Day 3 Relaxing in Rotterdam
Enjoy your breakfast and spend the day strolling through the city, shopping, relaxing in the Euromast Parc or go to a museum (Kunsthal, Boijmans van Beuningen, Worldmuseum, Maritime Museum, and many more). If you wish we can make reservations for entrance tickets, restaurants or tours. Just let us know.
