This Grand Holland Tour takes you from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft to The Hague – Scheveningen

Day 1: Arrival in Amsterdam
City tour by bus and canal cruise. The city tour starts at Schiphol and takes 4hrs.
With this combination you can see all the highlights of Amsterdam. You pass all of Amsterdam’s famous attractions: Canal houses from the golden age, the Westerkerk, the Anne Frank House, the Dam square, Flower market, Rembrandt Square, Museum Square.

Canal cruises are the ultimate way of getting to know the city. By taking this cruise you won’t miss one bit of the beautiful city of Amsterdam and you’ll find out just why the canals of Amsterdam have been given the World Heritage status by UNESCO.

Day 2: Rotterdam and Maeslant Barrier
Rotterdam is the largest port in Europe and an impressive architectural city. With the city tour you can enjoy lovely views of the river Maas, the old port with remarkable yellow cube houses and many other unique buildings. There is also the 185 meter high Euromast tower where you can see Rotterdam from a magnificent vantage point: one side is the port and on other side is the architectural city.

The Maeslant Storm Surge Barrier, is the last part of the Delta Works project, is the world’s largest moveable barrier protecting the Rotterdam area, Europe’s busiest port and the country’s second largest city, from the potentially devastating effects of high floodwater. The barrier consists of two huge floatable hollow doors. Under normal conditions the doors are fully opened to allow ships to sail to and from Rotterdam. If the water level rises by 3 meters above the designated norm, the doors are closed and flooded with water. This causes them to slowly sink. The doors each 240 metres in length and comprising 15 floodable compartments are stored in docks which lie along both shores.

Day 3: Museums of Amsterdam:
Rijks museum, Van Gogh museum, House of Anne Frank, Rembrandt house, Heineken experience and much more.
